They went for the higher price! Why?
While the new Hellenic Post Office administration is concerned with securing positions for its affiliates, ignoring the organization's pressing problems, the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP S.A.) is considering entering a contract regarding the distribution of its bills with a rival private company, agreeing to pay a higher price.
The Hellenic Post Office, which has the biggest network in Greece, from Ormenio to the island of Gavdos, despite its offering lower prices, was rejected from the tender.
In all those years that the Hellenic Post Office has been offering its services to the public utility EYDAP and its consumers, certain backroom networks were aiming to influence decision-making procedures. Today, ALL THESE PEOPLE believe that they can “usurp” this contract from the Hellenic Post Office and cause the oldest public corporation to be devalued.
We inform every competent official that the Hellenic Post Office employees will not allow this “robbery” against the Public Postal Services to take place. All those responsible will be revealed and will face the consequences of their actions.
We call the competent Minister to take action. Lets not forget that in his recent speech to the Parliament, he specifically referred to this tender and to the attempts by various “Independent” Organizations to undermine the Hellenic Post Office.
We call the Hellenic Post Office administration to address these serious matters that our corporation is facing, leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to defend our interests.
THE HELLENIC POST OFFICE WILL NOT BE PARALYZED!
Finally, we call all employees to be prepared to resist and fend off this organized attack against the Hellenic Post Office, which was planned a long time ago and unfortunately is currently underway.
